My Life, The Theater, and Other Tragedies

My Life, The Theater, and Other Tragedies was about a high school teenager who's father died two years ago and is still having trouble accepting his death. To try and distract himself from this tragedy he becomes a techie. Only there's a problem, he's in love with an actress and techies and actors do not get along. This book is great because it never really gets boring. There is always something unexpected happening throughout each chapter and each character feels like a real person. The one problem I had with this book is that it felt like it dragged on a bit at the end. It could've been cut down 3 or 4 chapters and still kept the same idea. Overall, it's good book for any teenager who loves the theater or just loves to read in general.
