Die for Me

Die For Me was an okay book. There were parts of the book that were really good, and then parts that made me want to close the book and walk away. Die For Me is about a girl named Kate, who moves to France to live with her grandparents after her parents died. She has been depressed since their death, and refuses to do anything but read in her room. Then she meets Vincent, a gorgeous 19 year old student who catches Kate’s eye the moment she sees him in a café. Soon after their encounter, they begin to fall in love with each other. But, Vincent has a secret that that could ruin his relationship with Kate. He’s a revenant, a creature that can resurrect themselves from the dead. Their purpose in life is to save people’s lives, even if it means sacrificing their own. Kate is hesitant about letting Vincent into her life after discovering this secret. Can she stand seeing him die so often after her parent’s death?
