The Storm: Dogs of the Drowned City is very addicting. I've read it two times myself. I recommend this if you like adventure and dogs. The main character, Shep, is a dog that couldn't go to the tornado shelter because it was dog-free, so Shep goes out and rescues other dogs and they try to survive. This book is suspenseful and the main question is will Shep survive?
The Familiars is about three animal companions that have powers. The power of human magic is stolen from the world by the evil bunny Paksahara. The three familiars Aldwyn, a telekinetic cat, Gilbert,a tree frog that sees visions in puddles and Skylar a blue jay that can cast illusions. Together they must stop the evil forces of Paksahara and save the world. Will they stop Paksahara in time or will they be too late? With betrayals, enemies and alliances, people who like adventure and action will eat up this book like pizza or a brownie!
I think The Great Hamster Massacre is a good mystery and that it is a good book for early readers. I also think that it is confusing at some parts and It had parts that made me feel sad because lots of animals die.
