Keeper of the Lost Cities

I think Keeper of the Lost Cities is an awesome book. It really places me into Sophie's shoes. My favorite part is when Sophie catches Elementite. I think Dex is very nice and definitely has a crush on Sophie. When Sophie (and Dex) get kidnapped, I think the men drug her too much. Other than that, it's really exciting! I never imagined an elf world! I really think the author is creative with names and look forward to having kids like me enjoy her books, just like I did.

I read Pegasus and I really loved it. I thought it was a very touching book!

One for the Murphys

One for the Murphys is a great, realistic book. After her mom is hospitalized and she is sent to a foster family, Carley feels out of place. Life at the Murphys’ house is the opposite of when she lived alone with her mom. The book tells about how Carley’s feelings change, and how the Murphys go from feeling like someone else’s family to her family. I recommend One for the Murphys because it’s a great book with interesting, believable characters.

Insurgent

If you liked Divergent, you should read the sequel, Insurgent. Tris’ adventures continue with action that keeps you from putting down the book until you’ve finished. Insurgent is the second book in the trilogy, and I suggest that you start at the beginning of the series so you understand the book better. I really liked this book and I recommend it to fans of  The Hunger Games.

The Selection

If you liked Matched, by Ally Condie, you should read The Selection. It’s about America Singer, who’s chosen to compete against 34 other girls to marry the prince and become queen. I read this book in one day, and the cliffhanger ending leaves you hoping for a sequel. With action, suspense, romance, and life changing decisions, The Selection is a great book that I recommend.

Bliss

The Bliss family's baked goods always seemed a bit special. A certain pie, for example, might appear to cure the flu. Magic or not, everyone loves their sweets, but only Bliss family members know the truth. Parsley (Leigh), Sage, Rosemary (Rose), and Thyme (Ty), the Bliss kids, know they aren't supposed  to look in the magic Cookery Book, but who could resist the opportunity. Bliss is a great book for those who like fantasy (and cake) about mischief, making things right again, and of course, magic pastries.

Dragonswood

Dragonswood is a wonderful fantasy which I hope will inspire other children and adults like it did me. I think that the author did a very good job, though the plot may be a little confusing at times. But if you are a determined reader then I see no problem that would make you stop. 

Tess [the main character] has a strong mind that would inspire any girl with her determination. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did, because this is a heck of a good book!
