Scrivener's Moon

I probably should have read the first two books of the series before I got this one but it didn't seem necessary.  I thought because I had recently read the second book and it was not confusing at all that this one would be the same. I got very confused and gave up. The preface helped explain who the main character was but I still didn't understand the story enough to enjoy it. 

I don't think that Scrivener's Moon was my type of book, I was expecting something more like The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze when I read the back so no wonder I was a little bit disappointed.

Fang Girl

Fang Girl is what most people would call a humor novel. It's not like the Ellen DeGeneres books where the plotline is nonexistent, but is still pretty weak, providing many little places to sneak in little bits humor such as snappy comments and weird conversations. The characters all have some interesting personality trait that is always there when that person is talking. I have yet to read another humor novel that can do this so perfectly.

Ten

Have you ever seen one of those movies that makes it nearly impossible to sleep? Well Ten is the book version of one of those movies--it's scary, creepy, thrilling, gross, yet still something you wouldn't like to forget.

 
I personally think that the whole book was amazing, but like most good mysteries your suspicions are completely wrong and the killer is NOT your prime suspect.

The Rise of Nine

After reading I Am Number Four and The Power of Six (which I strongly recommend) I was anxiously awaiting the next book in this amazing series to be released. I have to say it exceeded all of my expectations, I was very impressed by boldness of the new characters and how the old ones like John and Sarah have changed.
I hope that other people who read this will enjoy it as much as I have.

Survive

Survive is an intense page-turner about a girl named Jane Solis. Jane's father committed suicide and she tried to, too. But when she tries again she finds herself in an excruciating situation. If you liked Trying Not to Breathe by Jennifer Hubbard I strongly recommend this book.

So Close to You

I usually like the galleys I pick from Porter Square Books, but this time I was disappointed. So Close To You was very confusing and I found that more often than not I had to reread the page several times before I understood what was going on. I have given up on trying to finish it for now, but maybe a different time I'll try again.
