Agent Q, or The Smell of Danger!

Action! Adventure! Betrayals! And of course, the bizarre state of DELAWARE! One of the best of the wonderful series by M.T. Anderson, Agent Q, is laugh out loud funny. Delaware, covered in mountains and full of dinosaurs, is ruled with an iron fist (or iron mittens, as you will find out) by the horrific ministry of silence. Jasper, Lily and Katie must make it to the border of Delaware before the ministry of silence catches them. But who will get there first?

Guys Read: Funny Business

Guys Read was hilarious! When you read this book, you’ll have the chance to discover funny stories by some of your favorite authors, including Christopher Paul Curtis, Kate DiCamillo, Adam Rex, and Jeff Kinney. I would recommend this book to both boys and girls. From a giant robot looking at pictures of a tether-ball game to aliens who die from exposure to broccoli, these 10 stories will crack you up.

Fabled Fifth Graders of Aesop Elementary School

I really loved The Fabled Fifth Graders of Aesop Elementary School. If you liked Sideways Stories From Wayside School, you will love this book too. It is about a bunch of crazy 5th graders and their musical guinea pigs. There are lots of wonderful characters and they have a school year filled with adventures with their very wacky and nice teacher, Mr. Jupiter. (He wears an Aztec headdress!) Read this book and you?ll laugh harder than you ever have!!

Vordak the Incomprehensible: How to Grow Up and Rule the World

How to Grow Up and Rule the World is a very funny book. It is a silly look at lots of ways to cause all kinds of trouble. It is filled with funny multiple-choice quizzes where the third choice is always the most evil. The drawings are clever cartoons that add a lot to the text. I particularly love the way the author talks directly to the reader as well as the portrayal of the superheroes. I would highly recommend it!
