Set in 17th Century England, The Dagger Quick is an exciting and adventurous book about a club-footed boy named Kitto Quick. Kitto meets his uncle for the first time, a captain/pirate. When his father gets killed, Kitto with a dagger and Captain Quick embark on a dangerous, though suspenseful journey to retrieve treasure. The Dagger Quick was so full of action that I had to get up at 6:00 AM to finish it — on an MCAS day! I recommend this book to fans of Treasure Island and pirates. This book is worthwhile.Kieran, 8
