Lark blew me away. It was a stunning story about two girls, Eve and Nyetta, left reeling after their friend Lark is brutally murdered. Told from all three girls perspectives, it explores dealing with death and what happens to the people left behind. It was quite a lot like The Lovely Bones and so eerie that I think about it all the time. I wouldn’t recommend it to people who get nervous because it is slightly graphic in parts. This book has left a lasting impression on me, I absolutely loved it. Jenna, 14
