Take Me to the River is about a teenage boy named Dylan, and his cousin , Rio. They go on a boat ride on the Rio Grande, a river than separates Texas and Mexico. This book has a lot of action. Dylan and Rio face a hurricane and a kidnapper who has kidnapped a boy. This book is very suspenseful and exciting. However, I think boys would like this book more than girls. I would recommend this book to a boy who likes a lot of action. It is a very good book, and I could not put it down. It is interesting from the start - a must-read.Miles, 10
