Meanicures was a great read and I couldn’t bring myself to put it down. Although the plot of middle-school kids being bullied isn’t a new subject, the way Catherine Clark wrote this book was unusually interesting, and involves friendship issues, hilarious insults, a realistic school environment, and just a tiny bit of magic. I would recommend it to any kids who like a good laugh, and a thought-provoking mystery.
