The Candymakers, by Wendy Mass, is a great twist on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and definitely a page turner. It is about four kids in a race to make the next top-selling candy and along the way we learn a bit about each character, their quirks, and many secrets are revealed. The other interesting thing about this book is that the author tells her story through the individual perspective of each character. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a story with a lot of action, adventure, and intriguing twists and turns. This was definitely a great read.
