The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place: The Hidden Gallery

In the book, The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place: The Hidden Gallery, Miss Penelope Lumley is back with the mysterious children who were discovered lurking in a wood and said to be raised by wolves. In this book, they are off to London to meet up with Ms. Lumley’s beloved former headmistress of the Swanburne academy for poor bright orphan females. As they roam around London, they become involved in some mayhem and mystery relating to Miss Lumley’s and the children’s unknown pasts. They meet a mysterious character who calls himself Judge Quincy, who somehow followed them to London and seems to know more about the children’s past than they do. The children are truly hilarious as and they do all sorts of funny things like, bite palace guards. I think kids will enjoy reading about the strange and amusing children and their proper governess.
