A Million Miles from Boston

A Million Miles from Boston was an enjoyable book. The author describes very vividly, the feeling of remembering something wrong, then learning what really happened. She makes you feel like it’s happening to you as you read the book. I didn’t like that the book was like a concerto of other regular stories: a girl’s mom dies, her dad wants to re-marry, she realizes that people aren’t always what they seem. I would have liked something more unexpected. I think that if you enjoyed The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall, you would enjoy A Million Miles from Boston.
