The Ogre of Olgefort was an enjoyable book. Like always, Eva Ibbotson was able to take common fairy tale elements (such as wizards, ghosts, and princess) and make them unique and interesting. The book is about a group of people (some magical and some not) who are sent to the castle to rescue the Princess Mirella from the ogre - only she doesn’t want to be saved! She wants the ogre to transform her into an animal. The plot is very fast-paced and is never boring. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an interesting and creative book!
