How to Save a Life was a great book. It’s well written and the characters are very strong and distinct. The story is told by two characters: Mandy, a pregnant 19 year old who is going to give up her baby for adoption, and Jill, a girl whose dad recently died and whose mom is going to adopt Mandy’s child. The plot moves a little slow, but many questions arise in each chapter. It’s very thought provoking and I was constantly asking myself while reading, What would I do if I were in their position? and there is no simple answer. I would definitely recommend this book.
