The main character in Fake Me a Match is a girl named Avery. Avery's Mom is going to get married, and she has a soon-to-be stepsister named Blake. Blake was playing with Avery's enemy Sophie and they liked the same boy named Sam. When they realize that they like the same person they have a big fight. But then finally they solve the problem and Avery gets to have him as a boyfriend and Avery's mom gets married to Blake's father. Avery tells Blake about how Sophie is her enemy and they become BFF/best-sisters and live a happy life together. Lydia, 8
