Sammy Keyes and the Night of the Skulls is the fourteenth book by Wendelin Van Draanen in the Sammy Keyes series. Sammy always gets in trouble with her friends Billy, Marissa, and Casey. Oh, and her archenemy Heather Acosta (aka Casey’s sister) is still nosing around in other people's business. When Sammy and her friends take a “harmless shortcut” through the graveyard, their Halloween takes a sudden turn toward trouble. I love this series because it is the perfect story for someone camping with their friends when it's a dark stormy night to read aloud. It also has just the right amount of romance. Tatiana, 10
