Pregnant Pause tells the painstaking story of a teenage pregnancy, but it tells it from a very different voice. The girl in this story want desperately to have a normal life and a marriage to the man that is her child's father, all the while struggling with the fact that she can't live the kind of life that she wanted to live - all wild and filled with color and chances. I really enjoyed this book and though at times I felt it was a little cliched, overall I found that it was a great story for a girl having to grow up, even when everyone turns their back on her.
