I will not lie, at the beginning of The Girl of Fire and Thorns, I was not excited. I had to work to get through the first hundred pages. But after those the book really took off in a direction I never saw coming and I loved it! I was sad when it was over. So therefore, I would recommend this book to people who can persevere and who read fast. But I felt that the work was definitely worthwhile, once I finished it.Jenna, 14
