I thought SkateFate was an interesting book. It is written in poems, so although the vocabulary is simple, to make sense of it you must have an open mind.It is all about a kid whose father is in Iraq, but he was in a bad accident and now he is in a wheelchair. It tells of how he goes through rehab and learns to skateboard again.
