I really loved The Piper's Son though I would recommend you read the companion novel Saving Francesca first (I did not read it and was slightly confused in the beginning.) I really love this author, who as well as writing Saving Francesca has also written Jellicoe Road. It is about a boy named Tom who is struggling to find himself and come to terms with what is happening in his family. I would recommend it for people who like realistic fiction or good books.Jenna, 14
