I found XVI to be a bit disturbing. The plot thickened and made it very good. The whole book was one big mystery where Nina had no clue and secrets were everywhere. As the story progresses, Nina falls in love, discovers her dead father is really alive, and finds the government is bad. The book talks a lot about sex, so if you find that inappropriate; otherwise, it was a really good book.
