The Book of Wonders was filled with action, mystery, magic and of course, wonders. It was about two kids, Zardi and Rhidan, whose sister and father were in BIG danger. Rhidan was adopted so they ventured to find his birth family to help save his new family. I liked a sailor character who acted like a pirate but was just pretending. He was really a nice guy. I also liked his mom who was a medicine woman and a genie. She told them each their future. I enjoyed the book and it kept my attention. But the end seemed to slip away and not really end, making me want to read more.
