I found The White Glove War a trip down memory lane. The book was kind of a cliché witchcraft fairy tale that appealed to slightly older audiences. At certain points I had to resist the urge to simply drop the book and leave it there. Besides that, the plot was very confusing. Personally, I recommend that you try the first book before you read the second. If I had read the first maybe I'd have a different, and maybe better, opinion.
