Heart of Stone contains a subtle amount of gruesomeness with a hint of romance. The main character, Verity, enchanted me. I am still a little old for this style of book, but I could not leave it out of my sight for even a quick second. So that every chance I got, I could read that book. In Heart of Stone, a girl and her friends have to save the world from disaster, when the Earth witch tries to stop all happy endings. I think this is the perfect homework book because you do not have to stress reading it.Abby,
