Graveyard Shift is an incredibly exciting book. I couldn't put it
down. Graveyard Shift may not have a totally unique plot line (I can name
several television shows and books with similar ones), but it somehow avoids
feeling cliched. The tale of good vs. evil, with lost souls stuck in the
middle, is told in a new and interesting way. It has a mostly happy ending. The author does a nice job of tying up loose ends and concluding the story. Warning
for realistic fiction fans: it involves ghosts, soul-sucking Mawbreeds, and
agents of darkness vs. agents of light.
