Divergent

Divergent is an unbelievably fast read by Veronica Roth. It brings you into the dull, but soon thrilling, life of Beatrice, Tris, and Prior, a 16-year-old girl who has to make a life-changing decision: stay with her parents and be trapped in a life she is pretending to live, or leave everything behind and listen to the voice of the person she is deep inside. Throughout the entire book, there isn’t a dull moment. There’s everything someone looks for in an interesting book: from romance to action to combat. At first, I thought Divergent would be similar to the Uglies series, but it ended up being more like Hunger Games. I would recommend this book to any teen who wants to read an amazingly written book that leaves you wanting more at the end.
