I really loved the first book in the second Seekers series, The Island of Shadows. Written by Erin Hunter (who also wrote the great Warriors series), this is, what I think, one of her best books yet. I’ve heard some people say that when a series gets into its second series of books it gets boring. Judging from this book, however, I can prove that they are wrong; Toklo, Kallik and Lusa are trying to get home, accompanied by Yakone, who claims to be a lost cub when the four bears meet. Toklo wants to protect him after Ujurak died, but the others aren’t sure. Can they trust him? Adal, 11
