When Cate's mother dies in childbirth Cate is left to raise her two younger sisters, Tess and Maura, with only the help of a distant father. It would be a hard situation for anyone to deal with, but it is made all the more difficult with the fact that all of them are witches, something which is severely punishable by the Brotherhood in the town that they live in. So now Cate has to juggle love and friends all the while hiding his terrible secret. And when Cate finds her mother's diary she discovered a secret her mother had kept from them and realized that things are about to become a whole lot worse for her and her sisters. Born Wicked is filled with fun and magic and is a thoroughly enjoyable read.
