Silhouetted by the Blue

Silhouetted by the Blue was a depressing book. The first reason is because of a character. Serena, the main character, has a very depressed father, who doesn’t take care of her or her brother. So Serena has to take care of herself and her brother, while juggling homework and a play. Serena’s father is so depressed that he tries to commit suicide, but she saves him. The other reason is that I almost burst into tears while reading this book. I hope no one goes through these challenges. This book has taught me about the world.
