Into the Trap is very interesting and gripping but only in the action sense. I laugh at the author's feeble attempts at anything emotional. Besides that though, I definitely recommend it to anyone who isn’t always pining for reasons to love the character. At some points the way characters handle matters don’t make sense because you’re not attached to the characters enough. I found it very interesting that the author taught me so much about lobstermen and their slang, so it was a cultural experience for me, too. If you’re the impatient type, read this book. If not, read it anyway.
