The Glorious Adventures of the Sunshine Queen by Geraldine McCaughrean was one of the worst books I've ever read. The description on the back makes it sound like a great book, but it's not. First, the beginning doesn't make much sense--it's not until the end when there's adventure that the description describes. It’s also a bit confusing because there are way too many characters. I also think that the author could have made the ending a little better to provide more details about what happens to the characters. Unfortunately, even though I don’t like to criticize books, I have to say that The Glorious Adventures of the Sunshine Queen was not worth reading and is still a bad book.Allison, 11
