Sisters of Glass is all combinations. The setting is a combination of a fifteenth century Venice island that sometimes seems more modern. The dying wish of the father of a girl from a glass blowing family is that she marry a nobleman, though she loves a man who works for her family. There is a combination of a historical novel about a family’s struggle and one about a girl disobeying tradition for a guy; also, though the whole book is in verse, it doesn’t read that way. These combinations mean you must have a distinct taste to read it, but you’ll love it!!Eva, 11
