Balthazar

If you liked Twilight you will like Balthazar because, lets face it, how many variations can a love story between a vampire and a human have? Not that many. That being said, I did enjoy this book. It was a light and fun romance with some mild suspense. I found myself wanting to read more and to find out what happened. The way that the author spaced all of the tension was what made the book - and the romance - definitely intense. So overall, a fun, fast read that won't really stick with you. However, even though this book is not a sequel to the author's other books you should definitely read Evernight, if not any of the others, so you wont be confused.
