Neversink is a rather strange book. It is about an auk named Lockley J. Puffin and his friends, Egbert (a walrus) and Ruby (a hummingbird). They have to try and save their island from a group of evil owls that want to take all of their food. I think that the book should either be funny or dark, not a mixture of both, like it is. For example, various birds get killed, but it's otherwise a very funny book.
