Love and Leftovers

Love & Leftovers tells the story of a teenager who has to act like "the mom" in her family. When Marcie moves to a new state on the opposite coast of the country because her parents are getting divorced, she meets new people and has to adjust her life. She goes through the troubles that haunt teens all over but with more of a struggle. She misses her friends and family back home while still trying to have a life in her new home. The book as a whole captivates you and helps you understand more about your own life. It tells you that it's okay to be confused and ask for help when you need it.
