The theme of Guys Read: Thriller is "thriller." That's pretty obvious, but some of the stories weren't quite thrilling to me and without the thrill, there wasn't much to hold my attention. I'd rather be thrilled by a roller coaster. Some stories are still good though. There was one about ghost-vision goggles that made me wish I had a gadget like that! In another story about monster hunters, a boy's friend is captured by monsters. He must find out which monster kidnapped his friend and rescue him. All in all the book went up and down for me, but it wasn't as fun as a roller coaster.
