Planet Tad is a great book for all the crazy lovers of Mad Magazine and the TV show. For anybody who doesn't read Mad Magazine, Planet Tad is the blog that teenager Tad started. Most of the book is from the article, but some of it is relatively new.
In this book, wimpy tad has four or five goals. To Shave. To get girls to notice him. To do a kick-flip. And one or two others. Now, Planet Tad could be said as a rip-off of Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. But if you think about it, this didn't start out as any book. This had ideas all over the place in one book.
This is written in the same style as Wimpy Kid, but is not too much of a rip-off. But, there is a thing where Greg in wimpy kid plays Net Kritterz and Tad plays relatively the same thing. But, if you are looking for a book unlike the Wimpy Kid, look elsewhere. But, overall, Tad and Greg are like brothers in alternative dimensions. They are both worth several reads.
