Trinkets

Trinkets was a page-turner because of the different perspecives it was writen from. The characters in this book changed after meeting each other. Although all of them had their own lives they were never truly comfortable. To relive their negative feelings the girls shoplifted. When their different lives collided the girls found a new comfort in each other. This amazing story is a great read for young adults, I couldn't put it down!

Catherine

Having not read Wuthering Heights, the book Catherine was based on, I found myself being a little worried that I wouldn't understand the plot. Instead it was the opposite. I loved this book!! It kept me sucked in from the beginning to the end, the characters were full of life and spark, and the author didn't end the story the way that I thought she would. In fact, I would highly recommend this book. I thought it was excellent.

Altered

I really did not like Altered. To start off, this girl has four boys locked in her basement for testing. But does she think about how wrong it is to keep prisoners in your basement? Does she ever wonder what they are there for? Does she show any feelings at all? No!!! The only thing she cared about was how hot one of the boys, Sam, was. Is this a realistic reaction? I think not. And that was just the start of a very infuriating read. The idea behind the book showed promise, but unfortunately for this book I think something got lost in translation.

Scrivener's Moon

I probably should have read the first two books of the series before I got this one but it didn't seem necessary.  I thought because I had recently read the second book and it was not confusing at all that this one would be the same. I got very confused and gave up. The preface helped explain who the main character was but I still didn't understand the story enough to enjoy it.

I don't think that Scrivener's Moon was my type of book, I was expecting something more like The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze when I read the back so no wonder I was a little bit disappointed.

Legend of the Ghost Dog

I couldn't put down Legend of the Ghost Dog. The cover looks a bit scary, but it will not give you nightmares. It is about a family who go to Nome, and the girl meets another girl who lives in Nome. They see a ghost dog, and try to find out about it. They succeed! I love this book and can't wait to read more from the author.

Time Between Us

Anna's life is thoroughly normal until she meets Bennett, how is thrilling and different from the other boys at her school. But never, not even in her wildest dreams, could she guess how different he really is. I thought Time Between Us was a fun light read. It had its cliche moments, but they worked. I would recommend this book to people who like romance books.

Lucid

Wow!!!! Lucid is really wonderful. It had me guessing all the way up until the end, and the ending was one of the best twists I have ever read. I would highly recommend this book!

The Cup and the Crown

I was so lucky to find The Cup and the Crown! I had read the first book, The Silver Bowl, last year as an ARC and loved it. This book was just as amazing. I wouldn’t read it if I hadn’t read the first one, though. The book continues the story of Molly, a young girl with mysterious powers, as she and her friends try to find a Loving Cup made by her grandfather. There’s a lot of magic and mystery in this book, so it’s great for it you like fantasy. I would totally recommend it!
